Lead with Confidence.
Thrive across Cultures.
Intercultural leadership coaching and training for those navigating the challenges of a diverse and interconnected world
Cultural confusion: You work with people from cultures that are different to your own, and you don't know how to overcome the differences.
Conflict: Your team frequently experiences conflict, which is frustrating, erodes trust, and contributes to high turnover in your workplace.
Communication challenges: No matter how clearly you communicate, your coworkers just don't seem to get it. This is becoming costly for you and your business.
Complaints: As a leader, you are trying to help the minority culture people in your workplace to thrive, and you don't understand why they keep complaining about how they are treated.
Lack of team cohesion: There is low trust on your team, and people don't feel safe to voice their opinions readily, so your team never fully commits to a way forward.
Microagressions: You are tired of the constant microagressions and systemic inequity in your workplace, and frustrated that your employers don't get it.
Imposter Syndrome: You often feel overwhelmed and sometimes feel inadequate as a leader, even though you know you're highly qualified.
Burn out: You feel exhausted, and you're starting to resent the leadership role you once loved.
If so, you're not alone...
My story begins with a Korean mother and a British father, who met in Germany and chose to bridge the cultural divide and create a new family, living first in France, then raising a family in the south of England. I have lived in the UK, France, Germany, Canada, and the USA, and have learned the hard way how to overcome culture shock and disorientation to achieve a sense of connection and thriving in multiple new cultural settings. I coach individuals and teams to cultivate self-awareness of their perspective on the world, to foster empathy for those who are different from themselves, and to develop cultural agility, enabling them to build cultural bridges more effectively.
It’s also my privilege to walk alongside leaders to help them achieve their personal and professional goals so they can flourish in every area of their lives.
I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived up and down the coast and central valley of California. After graduating with a degree in International Business Management, I then spent almost ten years studying and working in places like Denmark, Italy, Morocco, China, Canada, England, and France. I now live in Sacramento, CA, where I serve individuals and the community as a pastor and leadership coach.
As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and a member of the International Coaching Federation, I partner with leaders who are looking to grow and thrive in their personal or professional lives, as well as those seeking to grow in their intercultural development. I care about people and love to see them flourish.
